This is a painting that represents a breakthrough in my practice, as it connected me to a purpose I want to focus on for the foreseeable future. To create artworks that convey and connect me with women. With women that have longed to feel connected to their body, their minds, their roots, something that is both physical and spiritual.
What I so deeply feel is a burning desire to make emotions tangible through artistic expression, allow them to become visible and for other women to see themselves reflected in the artworks.
