Provence for life…

At FAMM, 12 March 2025

I am grateful to have the opportunity to be here in France, especially in Provence. Not only because of the history in relation to artists. But also because nature reminds us to live more in touch with nature, and also within oneself. Seeing Provence on the verge of spring, is magical. The air is crisp and cold, with bouts of sunshine, and flowers and leaves start peeking out, waking up from the winter sleep.

Being here is a dream, it is a dream that I have experienced twice now. This carries me forward and renews my curiosity for art making, for continuing to add playfulness to art making and life as a whole. I am experimenting with new materials and look forward to sharing more about these new processes.

Mougins sights

And yesterday I visited FAMM, the first museum dedicated to female artists in Europe, located in Mougins. Seeing the work of many artists which I have admired deeply for years, and which I got to see in person for the first time was so moving. There were also many other contemporary artists in the collection, which I learnt about yesterday. All of this encourages me to continue to work hard for my dreams and for what my destiny has in its plans for me and my art.

There is still an opportunity to support my artist residency in France, you can see more details here:
